Detail: He lived -600 to -529, founded Persian Empire, and captured Babylon [-539]. He freed Jews. His capital was at Pasargadae. He established Achaemenid Dynasty and Persian Empire and conquered Medea [-549], Lydia, Babylonia, and Egypt [-525]. He restored Jews to Palestine and rebuilt temple for third time. He respected local customs and governments and only wanted tribute. He tried to take Hindu Kush but Scythians killed him [-529].
