Children can draw squares and triangles but not diamonds, trace long straight lines, draw people, recall 4 to 5 numbers immediately, and pick up tiny pellets and place them. Children have good balance, show handedness, act independently, dress themselves, use toilet alone, play alone unsupervised, solve small problems, imitate activities, and talk and think to themselves.
