Plight

Every day they drink a bottlewithout thought,

To forget about what theirancestors taught,

Who believed the spiritual wasin everything.

They try to get a job, but theyalways hear "no,"

So they have to live in theghetto.

They respected their land, butnow have no feeling.

Violence and hatred in thestreet day after day.

Their Mother, Earth, is fadingaway.

Railroad signs show respect forEarth is ending.

Can they change anything?
